What will you be doing day to day?

• Support projects through assisting with planning, technical solutions, coordination, and report writing through all stages of a project development, while developing capabilities and technical skills
• Work across multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored fire safety strategies for complex buildings, supported by engineering principles
• Assess fire risks and determine overall systems and structures required to achieve safe occupation and evacuation
• Use physics, chemistry and CFD software simulate fire and smoke movement in buildings
• Use human behaviour principles and egress modelling software to simulate occupant evacuation for complex buildings
• Engage with external and internal stakeholders as part of the design and implementation
• Review and witness performance of mechanical smoke control system, and water-based fire suppression systems during construction
• Exposure to use of different building materials, structures and buildings, fire systems, human behaviour and safety, and the prevention, detection, and suppression of fire
• Assist Senior and Project Engineers in completing projects in terms of program, profitability, technical risk management and overall Client satisfaction
