What will you be doing day to day?
- Assist with scoping, researching and preparing statutory and strategic planning assessments, including, but not limited to, Statements of Environmental Effects, Environmental Impact Statements, Review of Environmental Factors, Planning Proposal Applications and Urban Design Reports in accordance with regulatory requirements, and to agreed project scope, programme and budget.
- Undertaking policy and development reviews, including the preparation of submissions on policy and strategic planning matters.
- Assisting with providing best practice advice and guidance to internal and external clients.
- Assisting with and/or participating in community and stakeholder engagement work related to planning tasks.
- Participating in and sharing planning knowledge with other team members and colleagues in other disciplines.
- Maintaining and improving technical standards in planning including keeping up to date with legislative changes and sharing this information internally as appropriate.
- Assisting with business development for Stantec with support and providing inputs into proposals.
- Completing all work in accordance with Stantec’s Core Values, Quality Systems, Health and Safety Systems, and Project Quality Procedures.

Tertiary qualification in Town Planner
Passion for learning and problem-solving
Australian Citizen, PR or NZ Citizen.
Currently in final year of degree or 1-2 years post-graduation
