Your Opportunity

Your role will be to provide administrative support assistance to our team.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in maintaining document control processes, systems and procedures established for the Geomatics Group.
  • Assist in developing policies, procedures, and processes to support robust document management in accordance with Ontario Land Survey Association requirements.
  • Support and use designated electronic systems to store, track, and manage documents.
  • File and maintain print and electronic documentation, internal tracking, and external distribution.
  • Attend training as required to ensure effective support of document control processes and systems.
  • Compile and assemble files, documents, reports, manuals, and other materials.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain document control systems.
  • Sending printing of drawings and reports to an in-office print shop.
  • Preparing Transmittals.
  • Observe record retention procedures and policies.
  • Provide general project and office support as required.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and willingness to work within frequently changing priorities.
  • Must be willing and able to take initiative when needed (able to self-manage).
  • Flexibility to learn new skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma with minimum of 2 years experience; or Post Secondary Degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position will primarily work in an office setting.
