Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Meet the Secretary of Interior Professional Qualifications Standards for Archaeology
- Proven record of authoring geomorphological and geoarchaeological reports and assessments
- Professional writing, problem solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working in geosciences such as ground-penetrating radar, electrical resistance, and magnetometry.
- Valid driver's license with REAL ID and good driving record required.
- Permitted Statewide in Colorado, Wyoming or Utah
- Ability to attain BLM permits within the states of Colorado, Wyoming or Utah
- Experience leading and conducting Phase I and III Cultural Resource Inventories in the Mountain West.
- Section 106 and 110 (NHPA) Consultation.
- Registered Professional Archaeologist preferred.
Education and Experience
- MA/MS in cultural resources or archaeology, with an emphasis on geoarchaeology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cultural resource management and conducting field projects .
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
