Automation Project Designer

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Experience with programmable logic controller (PLC)/industrial controls a plus.
  
• Extensive experience with Microsoft programs/tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  
• Possess basic knowledge of engineering practices within own discipline. 
  
• Knowledgeable of accepted design and construction concepts, practices and procedures. 
  
• Able to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and specifications, technical procedures and government regulations.
  
• Proficient in applicable software (i.e., CAD and Revit). 
  
• Exhibits effective communication skills to communicate the scope and coordinate tasks with vendors and co-workers.
  

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field required.
  
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in engineering design and consulting for tenant improvement projects, new construction buildings, central plant work, existing facility upgrades, or related markets preferred.
  
• Extensive experience with Microsoft programs/tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.
  
• Professional Engineering (PE) license a bonus.
  
• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
