Aviation Planner / Project Coordinator

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• 5 years of increasingly responsible experience in airport planning or related field;
• Possesses a familiarity with the aviation industry and an ability to support new and existing client relations;
• Excellent analytical skills;
• Project management skills and 5 years of progressive experience from aviation projects;
• Ability to balance multiple concurrent projects and tasks;
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communications skills;
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint);
• Profiency with airside planning software, such as Aviplan; and,
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with staff and client organizations.

Education and Experience

• University degree in a field that provides a strong foundation for aviation consulting, such as Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Aviation Management, or Aviation Operations;
• Knowledge of best practices, methods, and principles utilized in strategic planning, infrastructure and facilities planning, and operational research for airports;
• Experience using AutoCAD;
• Proficiency using Adobe and/or Bluebeam Revu; and
• Knowledge of analytical techniques and related tools including statistical, spreadsheet, database, simulation modelling (CAST or Transoft Solutions Software), and spatial/graphical analysis applications.
