Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Environmental consulting experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience contributing to biological technical reports, environmental impact evaluation, siting reports, and environmental permit applications, including field surveys and reporting, resource and impact evaluations, preparation of NEPA/CEQA analysis and documentation, and Section 7 ESA Consultation.
- Possess California-specific biology experience.
- Dedication to successful project execution and technical excellence.
- Proven critical judgment.
- Working understanding of policies and procedures for HSSE, including client-specific training (as required), and demonstrates use and understanding of these policies and procedures as appropriate to their work.
- Builds and maintains productive professional and personal networking relationships within their technical team, Business Center, and region.
- Demonstrates ability to build relationships with key clients with respect to their technical area and the broader business objectives of the business center.
- The successful candidate will have a diverse skill set in multiple environmental disciplines and a passion for lifelong learning.
- Be a self-starter and team-oriented.
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license required.
- Proficient in MS Office applications
- Experience with California Tiger Salamanders, California Red-legged Frogs, Giant Garter Snake, San Francisco Garter Snake, Alameda Whipsnake are a plus.
- Experience with the Migratory Bird Treaty Act.
- Knowledge in GIS software is an asset
- Experience with driving boats, trailers and ATV is an asset
Education and Experience
