Additional Qualifications:
Education: Master’s degree in Biology, Environmental Science, Ecology or a related field
Primary Skills:
- Experience serving on and leading teams of field scientists for biological surveys in California.
- Experience performing wetland delineations and preparing mitigation plans.
- Established relationships with local, state, and federal permitting agencies.
- CEQA experience.
- NEPA experience.
- Experience providing environmental compliance monitoring for construction projects.
- General understanding of geographic information systems.
- Ability to work independently, as well as in teams ranging from 2 to 60 staff.
- Ability to direct staff technicians regarding data collection, preparation of figures and maps, and report production.
- Possession of a state [Scientific Collecting/MOU] or federal permit [10(a)1(A)] for listed species a plus.

Occasional overnight travel would be required.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather. Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
