Bridge Engineer
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experience with MaineDOT and/or NHDOT design standards and practices.
- Experience with AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications.
- Effective verbal, visual, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in MicroStation, MathCAD, & Microsoft Office.
- Experience using bridge design and analysis software (Merlin-Dash, CSiBridge, STAAD, AASHTOware, LPile, Group, LEAP-steel/concrete, etc.)
- Experience with bridge inspection and load rating.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. Master’s degree in Structural Engineering desired.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Licensed Professional Engineer required.
- Position will primarily be in an office setting; may require some field work. The ability to work part-time from home will be extended to the candidate once in-office working relationships are established.
