Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Advanced understanding of most relevant structural design and analysis concepts and methods
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite
- Knowledge of and Proficiency (preferred) in proprietary structural design /analysis software e.g. SAP, CSI Bridge, MathCad
- Assessment and validation of software calculation results
- Basic understanding of AutoCAD and any other relevant design software
- Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting, to engage in creative and critical thought, and to effectively communicate concepts and ideas to others
- Ability to create and interpret sketches, drawings, and other documentation associated with a typical variety of structures
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Structural Engineering or related field & EIT. 2 years of experience preferred. Previous co-op/Internship experience also preferred.
Master's degree is an asset.
Position will primarily require work in an office setting; the role will require field work as described above.
