Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Familiarity with structural systems, members and forces.

  • Experience evaluating material deterioration of concrete, steel, and timber.

  • Familiarity with the requirements of the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS).

  • Be a detailed oriented and highly organized individual that can demonstrate the initiative and commitment to a final professional product for clients.

  • Self-motivated person with strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to travel in/out of state approximately two weeks or more each month.

  • Works well in a team environment in both field and office assignments with the ability to adapt to changing work environments.

  • Must have proof of valid and unrestricted driver's license.

  • Prior to employment this position will require the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.

  • Experienced in common computer applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Access) along with experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

  • Skills regarding the management of large data sets, knowledge of database structures, Microsoft Access Database development, VBA, XML, &  C++ Languages is a plus.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Structural, Mechanical. EIT preferred. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience. Co-op/Internship experience preferred.

Position will work in an office setting as well as will require field work.
