Bridge Inspection Team Assistant
Your Capabilities and Credentials

Familiarity with structural systems, members and forces.

Experience evaluating material deterioration of concrete, steel, and timber.

Familiarity with the requirements of the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS).

Be a detailed oriented and highly organized individual that can demonstrate the initiative and commitment to a final professional product for clients.

Self-motivated person with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to travel in/out of state approximately two weeks or more each month.

Works well in a team environment in both field and office assignments with the ability to adapt to changing work environments.

Must have proof of valid and unrestricted driver's license.

Prior to employment this position will require the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening.

Experienced in common computer applications (i.e. MS Word, Excel, Access) along with experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.

Skills regarding the management of large data sets, knowledge of database structures, Microsoft Access Database development, VBA, XML, & C++ Languages is a plus.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Structural, Mechanical. EIT preferred. Minimum of 0-2 years of experience. Co-op/Internship experience preferred.Position will work in an office setting as well as will require field work.
