Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Experienced in Microsoft computer applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Access) along with AutoCAD and MicroStation drafting experience.
- Excellent math, verbal and organizational skills are required.
- Ability to travel in/out of state approximately two (2) weeks or more each month.
- Works well in a team environment in both field and office assignments with the ability to adapt to changing work environments.
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License.
- Prior to employment with Stantec you will be required to pass a pre-employment Drug/Alcohol screening.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 5+ years’ experience in the field performing inspection of highway bridges.
- Taken and passed NHI Course: 130055 Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges.
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Arizona or able to obtain within six months.
- SPRAT Climbing and/or FAA 107 Drone Certification is a benefit.
- Experience performing Element Level bridge inspections and experience with AASHTOWare Bridge Management (BrM) software.
- Experience performing steel and concrete structure load ratings with AASHTOWare Bridge Rating software.
