Your Opportunity

Our Building Specialty Services (BSS) group offers a varied mix of professionals with practical design, field, and industry research and product development expertise. This opportunity seeks individuals with a desire to expand their interests and skills related to the performance of the building envelope. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with project document reviews for building envelope performance (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.).
  • Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussions.
  • Assist with review and report on project building envelope mock-ups.
  • Perform periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items.
  • Assist in project field performance testing to confirm building envelope performance (water, air leakage, infrared testing, etc.). 
  • Assist in project task management and coordination.
  • Participate in continuing education.
  • Perform various office related tasks.

Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong customer service commitment.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Professional attitude and commitment to succeed
  • Persistence and good work ethic
  • General understanding of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report.

Education and Experience

  • Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
