Your Opportunity
Our Building Specialty Services (BSS) group offers a varied mix of professionals with practical design, field, and industry research and product development expertise. This opportunity seeks individuals with a desire to expand their interests and skills related to the performance of the building envelope. Your Key Responsibilities
- Assist with project document reviews for building envelope performance (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.).
- Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussions.
- Assist with review and report on project building envelope mock-ups.
- Perform periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items.
- Assist in project field performance testing to confirm building envelope performance (water, air leakage, infrared testing, etc.).
- Assist in project task management and coordination.
- Participate in continuing education.
- Perform various office related tasks.
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong customer service commitment.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Professional attitude and commitment to succeed
- Persistence and good work ethic
- General understanding of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle report.
Education and Experience
- Pursuing a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
