Business Center Practice Leader

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Possession of the following personal leadership qualities: integrity, creativity, patience, tenacity, and commitment
• Washington Professional Engineering License required
• Ability to multitask project management and business development
• Entrepreneurial minded with a core understanding of business and the challenges of an engineering and environmental consulting services provider
• Experience in preparing comprehensive budget expenditures, overall project schedules, and in planning and managing revenue and expenses for a business unit
• Strong technical background working in Transportation
• Team player with experience building, leading, and managing a team
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills with an ability to clearly convey and distill complex technical information to a variety of audiences
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license required

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 15 years’ related work, leadership, financial management, business development and consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.

This position will primarily work in an office setting working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Travel required to other Stantec office locations, the field and/or meetings with clients. Travel to the field may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
