• Strong business development skills including significant experience building and maintaining productive relationships with a client base.
• Exceptional leadership, communication and team building skills.
• Skills and experience to effectively lead, challenge and inspire the leadership group and staff to work together cohesively as a team.
• Entrepreneurial orientation with strong understanding of business development challenges of a consulting services provider.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organization, coordination, and managerial skills.
• Knowledge of market assessment techniques, insights, and contacts.
• Proven success in developing new clients and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Familiarity with industry trends and industry leaders in the region.

Education and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 10 years’ related work, leadership, financial management, business development and consulting experience; or an equivalent combination of education and related experience. Professional registration in related field.

Position will primarily work in an office setting. Travel required to other Stantec office locations, the field and/or meetings with clients.
