About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to take charge of lead generation and revenue growth efforts across mining and metals commodities, and energy. Based in Perth, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding our business and solidifying our presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own revenue growth and lead generation across mining and metals commodities, and energy.
  • Identify, pursue and convert new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement
  • Manage and develop a strong sales pipeline using CRM
  • Monitor market trends, competitors, and client needs
  • Coordinate with operations and technical teams to align delivery with client expectations
  • Track BD performance and report against revenue targets

To be successful for this role you'll need

  • 10+ years’ experience in mining and energy industry within a professional consultancy
  • Proven background in business development / client acquisition within mining and energy clients
  • Demonstrated success hitting revenue and growth targets
  • Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
  • High level of autonomy and organisation
  • Experience using CRM systems to manage pipelines
  • Knowledge of mining & energy regulatory and environmental frameworks
  • Strong proposal and presentation capability
  • Leadership capability – able to influence and guide teams
