Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Knowledge of design standards, with strong proficiency in AutoCAD including a full understanding of layering standards, paper space/model space.
- Understanding of oil and gas as-built procedures.
- Able to transpose information, symbols and callouts on multi-discipline drawing types such as piping and instrumentation diagrams, single-line diagrams, schematics and interconnect diagrams, elevations, sections, etc.
- Working knowledge of other software programs including Adobe Acrobat and Raster Design.
- Field experience is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Eager to learn with strong listening and critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Able to work under and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the team.
- Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
- Must have a good driving record and valid Driver's License.
Your Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in the oil and gas industry in total.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
