Civil 12d Designer
About the role
Our Brisbane Transport & Infrastructure team is seeking a motivated 12D Designer to join us on a permanent basis. This role will see you delivering civil design outputs across transport and infrastructure projects, working closely with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams.
You will contribute to the production of high-quality, compliant design documentation while developing your technical capability within a supportive and collaborative consultancy environment.

Day to day tasks would involve:
Preparing and delivering civil design models and drawings using 12D in accordance with Queensland design standards and authority requirements
Supporting the development, checking, and coordination of civil design deliverables across transport and infrastructure projects
Collaborating with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to produce coordinated, constructible design outcomes
Assisting project teams to meet agreed scope, quality, program, and budget outcomes through accurate and timely design support
Contributing to quality assurance, risk management, and safety requirements in line with project and Stantec quality systems
To be successful for this role you'll need:
Minimum 7 years’ experience working in civil design, ideally within a consulting or infrastructure delivery environment
Proven, hands-on experience using 12D design software, with AutoCAD experience also highly regarded
Experience supporting the delivery of transport and/or infrastructure projects, preferably within the Queensland market
Working knowledge of Queensland standards, guidelines, and relevant authority requirements
Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate, high-quality design outputs within agreed timeframes
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams
