Civil CAD Technologist

Your Capabilities and Credentials

As the successful candidate you will possess the following:

• Strong communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
• Highly organized, have significant attention to detail, are able to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments.
• Required comprehensive experience in:
• Civil 3D
• AutoTurn or Vehicle tracking 
• Experience in the following is considered an asset:
• Autodesk BIM 360 and ProjectWise 
• Autodesk Recap
• Trimble Business Centre
• Microsoft Team

Education and Experience

• A Civil Technologist Diploma / Geomatics Technologist Diploma.
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience, and a comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D. 
• Experience and familiarity with municipal, urban development, wastewater, and water resources disciplines and/or an education background in these areas.
• Experience with MS Office Suite including Word, and Excel.
• Valid BC Drivers License and access to a vehicle

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
