Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineer in Training
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Excellent computer and technical skills, experience with Autodesk Civil 3D and HydroCAD software preferred
- Experience with utilizing a tablet and various applications to promote paperless documentation procedures
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Hardworking and enjoys learning
- Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, to accommodate schedules
- Ability to travel to other offices and project sites, including extended overnight stays out of town or out of state, as needed; field work may take place in remote locations with minimal amenities available
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Geology, Environmental Science or Science related field is required
- 0-3 years of experience in Civil, Construction, or Environmental Engineering
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification preferred
- Experience with nuclear density gauges is preferable
- Experience with Trimble GPS equipment is preferable
Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather and do repetitive work such as lifting bending standing for long periods of time. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs and do repetitive work such as lifting, bending and standing for long periods of time. Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
