Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Civil, Water Resources, or Environmental Engineering or a related degree;
- EI (Engineering Intern) certification or capability to obtain EI within 1 year;
- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills;
- Familiarity with fluid mechanics, hydrology, and hydraulic processes;
- Passion for water resources, flood risk reduction and computer modeling; and
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, concurrently.
Education and Experience
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic models, including HEC-RAS;
- Proficient with ESRI software, including ArcGIS;
- Knowledge of the National Flood Insurance Program;
- Ability to communicate clearly via phone, email, and in person to internal and external clients.
