Your Capabilities and Credentials
- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated leadership, solid technical design experience, project management experience and exceptional interpersonal communication skills. Specific experience and qualifications in the following areas are also required; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with 4+ years of land development experience.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modeling software
- At least 4 years’ experience in land development/civil site design
- PE is preferred or the ability to obtain one within 6 months
- Experience in the design of civil infrastructure such as site planning, roads, drainage, grading, water systems, sanitary sewer systems and other municipal infrastructure.
- Problem solving and decision making skills are essential.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
- Ability to take the lead on a project team is essential.
- Commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none.
- Experience in construction inspection, contract administration and project management.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer. Minimum of 5-6 years of experience.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
