Civil Engineer EIT

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Working knowledge of the principles of civil engineering. Previous exposure to construction field inspections, field sampling, and concrete/soil laboratory testing is a plus.
  
• Willing and able to travel, both nationally and internationally, to conduct field investigation or construction quality oversight type work.
  
• Some exposure to or knowledge of construction contracts, construction drawings and technical specifications, and computer aided design drafting.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint software.
  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  
• Sound organizational, technical, written, and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
  
• Prior engineering experience working in a consulting capacity is a plus.
  
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  

Education and Experience

• 0-2 years of experience
  
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Geological Engineering from an accredited university is required
  
• Completion of coursework in structures, construction management, and technical writing for engineers is preferred.
  
• EIT or ability to obtain within one year
