Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Self-starter with diligent work ethic and strong attention to detail
- EI License is preferred. Desire to acquire PE license is preferred
- Effective communication skills and ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought
- Ability to visualize three-dimensional concepts and layouts from diagrams or drawings
- Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the design team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and willingness to learn relevant software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, StormCAD, WaterCAD, etc.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+years civil engineering experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience in stormwater design, general utility and roadway design
- EIT license is preferred, and desire to pursue PE license is preferred
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
