Civil Engineer in Training

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Proven ability to maintain relationships with existing clients, while establishing trust and credibility.
• Proficient knowledge of Civil 3D, CAD and Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to participate and collaborate in a project team setting, engaging in creative and critical thought.
• Preferred skills that will assist the candidate in succeeding in the role are:
• Experience on projects for public sector clients.
• Experience with NC site/civil project related permitting procedures and regulations is a plus.
• Proficiency in developing technical specifications and construction cost estimates.
• Ability to participate in multi-disciplined (vertical and horizontal construction) design processes and requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with vertical design consultants or in-house staff (architects and mechanical and electrical engineers).
• Familiarity with Federal DoD contractual procedures and practices and execution of delivery order or MSA type contracts is a plus, but not required.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or similar accredited engineering degree.
• 3+ years of engineering experience.
• EI / EIT required.
