Civil Engineer - Roads and Highways
About the role
Our growing transport business delivers transport Infrastructure projects across state government, municipal and private sectors. We ensure the delivery of complex roads & highway projects whilst working collaboratively with team members to ensure positive outcomes.
Day to day tasks would involve:
- Civil engineering designs for roads, highways, utilities and other transport infrastructure projects.
- Prepare design documentation, technical reports and client’s specifications.
- Prepare conceptual and detailed design drawings in accordance with statutory requirements and standards.
- Provide specialist technical input and advice into technical activities, including but not limited to feasibility studies, report writing and civil design.
- Prepare and check engineering calculations, drawings, technical specifications and scopes of work.
To be successful for this role you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a civil infrastructure project environment (with specific exposure to roads and highways)
- Experience working on Main Roads or Public Transport Authority projects advantageous
- Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team and encourage collaboration
