Civil Engineering Intern - Summer 2024

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Desired software applications include AutoCAD and ArcView/GIS.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must have good organizational skills, be reliable, detail-orientated, and capable of taking initiative.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and take direction.

Education and Experience

• Must be a college student currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Computer skills required: AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook 
• Must have strong organization skills, be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of taking initiative
• Excellent communication skills required
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Experience working with public agencies and/or municipal government is a plus.
• Professional society participation is a plus

A typical day includes field environment working with an iPhone/iPad and Smart-Level and walking for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather
