Civil Engineering Technician

Your Capabilities and Credentials 

• Must have a thorough understanding of land development (including site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, storm water shallow utility coordination, roadway & lot design). 
• Must be a self-motivated individual possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Take a solution-oriented approach to solving problems.
• Must exhibit attention to detail and accuracy.
• Participates and collaborates in project team setting and able to engage in creative and critical thought.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite , AutoCAD Civil 3D, BlueBeam Revu.

Education and Experience

Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 10 years of experience. 

Position will primarily work in an office setting; however, this position will require field work depending on the season. Office environment involves working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Stantec offers flexible working arrangements to accommodate remote work, in office, or a combination thereof. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
