Civil Technologist

Your Qualifications:

• Civil Engineering Technology diploma from an accredited post-secondary institution
• Membership as, or eligibility to become a Certified Engineering Technologist with the local Provincial Technologist Association
• Experience with all aspects of roadway/highway design (e.g. alighments, geometrics, staging, utilities, quantity calculation, contract documents, constructability)
• Practical knowledge of TAC design procedures and standards (preferred)
• General understanding of other road design requirements (e.g. drainage / hydraulic design, environmental design / mitigation measures, engineering surveys, geotechnical investigations and design)
• Positive attitude and interpersonal skills that constitute a team player
• The preferred candidate will be energetic, well organized and self-motivated
• Ability to work on multiple projects with the ability to effectively prioritize
• Strong verbal and written sills are required
• Minimum 10 years related rexperience
