Civil Engineering Technologist, Land Development

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Must have a thorough understanding of land development (including site grading, sanitary and storm sewer servicing, water servicing, storm water shallow utility coordination, roadway & lot design)
• Experience in the City of Edmonton and surrounding area is preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated individual possessing strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Take a solution-oriented approach to solving problems.
• Must exhibit attention to detail and accuracy.
• Participates and collaborates in project team setting and able to engage in creative and critical thought.
• Knowledge and understanding of Civil 3D – including Corridors, Pipe Networks, Feature Lines and Surfaces.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant design software, including BlueBeam Revu.

Education and Experience

• Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of design experience.

Position will primarily work in an office setting; however, this position may require occasional field work depending on the season.
