Structural Engineer

Your Capabilities and Credentials

As the ideal candidate, you have:

• Strength in analysis and design including structural steel and reinforced concrete.
• Excellent knowledge of applicable design codes and familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Regulations. 
• Proficiency in use of STAAD Pro and/or RISA.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere.

• Experience completing inspections and condition assessments of concrete and steel structures.

• Willingness to travel to client sites or other Stantec offices is an asset.

• Knowledge of REVIT, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D is an asset

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering.
A Professional Engineering license in the State of Arizona (or the ability to obtain an Arizona license through reciprocity).  Licensure in other states such as Nevada, Utah and Colorado are an asset.

5 - 15 years of engineering, design, and construction experience in heavy industry, particularly surface and/or underground mining.
