Construction Inspector

Your Capabilities, Credentials and Qualifications

• Minimum Associates or Bachelor’s degree

• ACI and/or NETTCP Certifications desired

• Positions available range from entry-level with 1-year minimum bridge or roadway inspection experience to mid-level with 5-14 years to senior-level with 15+ years.  All levels of experience are encouraged to apply.

• Working knowledge and understanding of VT Agency of Transportation Specifications & Standards, including Traffic Control desired

• Ability to use or learn CADD (MicroStation or AutoCAD) desired

• Ability to use or learn construction management software (Appia, Site Manager) desired

• Good oral and written communication skills

• Able to travel within the State of Vermont

• Safety conscious

• Ability to focus on technical details

• Committed and diligent

Education & Experience

Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and construction experience. Minimum of 1-5 years of experience.

Position will primarily require field work which may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
