- The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience providing resident inspection services for roadway and municipal construction projects in Atlantic Canada.
- Able to work on weekends, nights, shift work, additional hours as required
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required as is an ability to work independently within the bounds of direction provided by the project manager.
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Previous office administration experience working in a construction office setting an asset
- A valid New Brunswick driver's license and your own vehicle are required for this position.
- Travel to remote construction sites will be required. There may also be opportunities for travel within Atlantic Canada.
- Position will be full-time employment and is based in one of our New Brunswick office locations (Fredericton, NB, Moncton, NB).
Education and Experience
- A post-secondary diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology / Technician or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years work experience in engineering/construction projects
- Either registration as a Technician or Technologist or Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training with APEGNB
