About the role

Our finance team in Melbourne is seeking a capable and customer-focused Credit Controller with to join us on a permanent basis. This role plays a key part in supporting healthy cash flow outcomes through effective accounts receivable and credit control activities.

  

You will work closely with internal stakeholders and external customers to manage outstanding accounts, resolve queries, and maintain accurate financial records. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further develop their credit control skills within a collaborative and professional environment, with support to grow both technically and commercially.

  

Day to day tasks would involve: 

  • Assist with monitoring debtor ageing and follow up on overdue invoices via email and phone.

  • Prepare and send client statements and reminder letters.

  • Maintain accurate records of client communications and transactions.

  • Manage daily receipting and banking activities, ensuring all customer payments are accurately recorded, reconciled, and deposited in a timely manner

  • Support monthly debtor meetings with Business Centre Leads and Project Managers.

  • Help reconcile client accounts and process receipts when required.

  • Liaise with internal teams to resolve queries promptly.

  •  Assisting with reporting and month-end processes

  

To be successful for this role you'll need: 

  • 1 -2 years previous experience in accounts receivable or credit control

  • Very strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Familiarity with the Oracle financial modules and MS Excel

  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail.
