Your Capabilities and Credentials

  • Professional writing, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business development and client management skills.
  • Experience leading and conducting all phases of cultural resource work in Georgia.
  • Proven experience of positive relationship with GA SHPO and other regulatory agencies.
  • Section 106 and 110 (NHPA) Consultation
  • Assessments of eligibility and effects for built environment resources
  • SOI qualified in Archaeology or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.

 Education and Experience

MA or MS in archaeology or a related field. An emphasis on Georgia and southeastern cultural resources preferred. Demonstrated expertise in the application and interpretation of Georgia and federal laws and regulations for projects of all sizes.

Minimum 10 years’ experience in cultural resources. Proven project management and program development experience. 

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
