Your Capabilities and Credential

  • Demonstrated experience with architectural history preferred.

  • Demonstrated and diverse experience in transportation, environmental infrastructure, oil and gas, conventional and renewable energy, and community development market sectors preferred.

  • Professional writing, problem solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large, cultural resources project/tasks, medium-sized projects/tasks with a high degree of technical complexity, and small projects/tasks with minimal cultural resources constraints.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously is essential.
  • Demonstrable marketing experience and client development and retention skills are required.
  • OSHA Hazwoper 40 certification required or ability to obtain prior to employment.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Prior to employment, this position will require the successful completion of a pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Education and Experience

  • MA/MS in cultural resources or archaeology, especially California archaeology. Demonstrated expertise in the application and interpretation of California and federal laws and regulations.
  • Registered Professional Archaeologist.
  • Minimum 5 years supervisory, management, and team-oriented experience in consulting acquired over 12 to 15+ years of progressively responsible cultural resources positions.

Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.  Ability to lift and move items and equipment up to 50 lbs.
