Your Capabilities & Credentials
- Experience with either NetBackup and/or CommVault backup solutions with strong preference for CommVault
- Experience working in data center environments
- Maintenance experience working with servers (HP / Dell), network (Juniper) and storage devices
- Capable of performing network cabling activities
- Be comfortable working in multiple locations within the city (multiple data centers)
- Experience working directly with vendors (data center / HW vendors / media)
- Windows, Linux, Network, VMware/Hyper-V working knowledge
- Experience working in a team-oriented, geographically dispersed team
- Flexible with changing priorities
- Ability to work independently
Education & Experience
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in computer science, electrical engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of five years’ related work experience.
- Please note that this position will require some after-hours and on-call work (rotation). Once a month Service Maintenance Day (SMD) activities (typically on weekends)
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
