Distribution Engineer, EIT

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• E.I.T. certification or ability to acquire within 1 year
• Proficiency with CAD (Microstation, AutoCAD or AUD)
• Knowledge of GIS platforms is desirable
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Office
• Have to ability to manage, and stay organized while working on, multiple projects 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Be able to demonstrate solid leadership and communication skills
• Working knowledge of electrical utility systems, policies and procedures including engineering standards preferred
• Experience working with a major electrical utility would be desirable
• Flexibility to prioritize and work on multiple projects with various due dates and scopes
• Valid driver’s license
• Available to travel up to 20%

Education and Experience

• We require a bachelor’s degree in engineering. Degrees must be from an accredited university in a related field of study.
• 0-3 years of experience.
• Experience working with a major electrical utility would be desirable.
• Working knowledge of electrical utility systems, policies and procedures including engineering standards preferred.

Position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
