Distribution Engineering Manager
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Strong communication skills, including an aptitude for effective leadership and people management
- Good motivator of people, proven results in excellent staff engagement
- Comprehensive understanding of all phases of distribution projects, including conventional and alternative delivery methods for public and private clients
- Ability to effectively discuss project issues with clients and stakeholders
- Excellent time-management skills; thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting and efficient use of time and resources
- Working knowledge of electrical utility systems, policies and procedures including engineering standards
- Experience working with major electrical utilities and industrial power clients, with a focus on US West
- Available to travel up to 25%
Education and Experience
We require, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree in engineering with at least fifteen years electric power utility experience. Degrees must be from an accredited university in a related field of study
Typical office environment working with computers and sitting at a desk. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
