Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Be strong in electrical theory.
- Have strong aptitudes for troubleshooting.
- Comfortable interacting with clients and contractors in a field setting.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and also in a team setting.
- Have knowledge of electrical systems, means and methods, materials, and industry standards
- Have experience in heavy industrial design such as oil & gas, mining, power, pulp & paper.
- Experience in control system design would be an asset.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. Licensed Professional Engineer. Minimum of 5-10 years of experience. Eligible to register as a Professional Engineer in the Province of Nova Scotia.Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
