Electrical Engineer

What Will You Need to Succeed?

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering 
• Licensed Professional Engineer preferred or ability to be licensed within 6 months.
• The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience working within the electrical engineering field.
• Design experience in lighting design, energy code compliance, lighting/power circuiting design, renewable energy, emergency power systems, communications systems, fire alarm systems, intelligent transportation system, construction cost estimating and specification writing.
• Thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry.
• Thorough knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry standards.
• Must have in depth knowledge of general transportation, buildings, community development or power construction.
• Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, and innovation.
• Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation and AGI32 or Visual Lighting Software.
• Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting, engage in creative and critical thought, and effectively communicate ideas, design issues and solutions to others.
• Ability to work in a typical office environment with computers and sit, stand, and walk for significant periods of time. Ability to navigate and walk on uneven terrain during field inspection or site visits and withstand exposure to normal weather conditions including inclement weather. #1794

This position will primarily work in an office setting; may require some field work.
