- Understanding and prioritization of safety and quality processes and culture.
- Self-starter, skilled in navigating engineering design concerns and developing project scope documents, technical requirements, reports, and quality reviews.
- Participate and collaborate in a project team setting to engage in creative and critical thought.
- Comprehensive understanding of design standards and codes related to electrical systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards including electrical, instrumentation and / or controls engineering design principles.
- Experience in developing all phases of electrical, instrumentation and / or controls engineering design packages.
- Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code, National Electrical Code, and applicable energy codes and ability to apply and interpret same.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills.
- Team player and collaborator with interpersonal skills and experience in coordinating people.
- Experience in developing and reviewing technical documents.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities.
- Problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience
- Preferred Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working on engineering design projects.
- Able to be registered as a P.Eng. in New Brunswick.
