Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Possess knowledge of the National Electrical Code and other applicable Industry standards and Electrical Engineering design principles.
- Career experience with leading the electrical design for projects including the working closely with electrical designer technicians and electrical CAD drafters to complete the electrical designs in time and on budget.
- Possess a working knowledge of AutoCad and Revit.
- Career experience with lighting calculation software (Visual, or similar), power system analysis software (SKM), and MS Office (or similar program).
- Career experience with construction documents and construction administration is required.
- Experience with designing low voltage systems such as fire alarm, security, CCTV, and card access a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with team members and clients
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required
- EIT and/or commitment to pursuing licensure or PE is preferred
- A minimum of 0-3 years of experience in building design practice preferred.
