Typical office environment working with computers. Some travel may be required (expected travel 20%), such as delivering plans or documents to reviewing agencies or clients or to attend meetings. Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Takes initiative on tasks and in coordinating with other members of the team.
- Ability to hand-draw graphics.
- Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation.
- Developing knowledge of economic and legal issues involved in zoning codes, building codes and environmental regulations.
- Working knowledge of legal and design requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
- Basic experience with relevant drafting/design software, such as AutoCAD, GIS, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Adobe Acrobat.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Planning, Landscape Architecture or related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.Typical office environment working with computers.
