Engineer in Training, Water and Wastewater

Your Capabilities and Credentials

• Basic understanding of general concepts of relevant areas of water and wastewater engineering design
• Ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting and to engage in creative and critical thought.
• Highly organized and ability to prioritize tasks
• Understanding of process, mechanical, or hydraulic engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others.
• Ability to interpret sketches, engineering drawings, and other similar material.
• Basic experience in Microsoft Office, as well as relevant discipline software programs, which may include hydraulic, process, and chemical modelling software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Chemical, Mechanical, Process, or Civil Engineering
• Registration as an Engineer-in-Training or P.Eng. is considered an asset.
• 0-6 years of experience. 
• A master’s degree in a relevant field is considered an asset
• Co-op/Internship experience is considered an asset.
