Your Capabilities and Credentials
- 3–5 years of overall experience with 3 years of experience performing environmental planning and permitting work.
- Working knowledge related to CEQA document preparation and environmental permitting.
- General understanding of local municipal planning and/or biological resource constraints within the Northern California region.
- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented professional with strong research, analysis, and reporting abilities.
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills for managing large data sets and project documentation/materials.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality work products.
- Familiarity with review and analysis of scientific data, maps, and drawings.
- Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
Preferred
- Knowledge of FERC’s hydropower relicensing process
- NEPA experience
- CWA 404/401 permitting
- CA Fish and Wildlife 1600 permitting experience
- Experience working with multiple-discipline resource teams
Education and Experience
- BA/BS degree in Environmental Science, Biology, Urban, Regional or Environmental Land Use Planning, Environmental Science, Environmental Studies, or a related field.
