Your Capabilities and Credentials
Intermediate Environmental Assessment Practitioners:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience or a combination of education and experience
- Comfortable working on multiple projects concurrently, sometimes reporting to different individuals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical writing skills
- Close attention to detail
- General knowledge of relevant local provincial and federal environmental legislation and policies
- Ability and natural tendency to mentor staff that are junior in experience/exposure
Junior Environmental Assessment Practitioners:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year work experience
- Willing to work on multiple projects concurrently, sometimes reporting to different individuals
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills, including MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Close attention to detail
- Motivated to learn new skills, take on work assignments, and handle multiple assignments as appropriate
- Some knowledge of relevant local provincial and federal environmental legislation and policies is an asset
Field Logistics Coordinator:
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service capacity
- Preferred background in asset management and inventory controls but not required
- A class 5 license is required
- Confident user of MS Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Solid written and verbal skills
- Proven high attention to detail 
- Experience within a fast-paced, high-demand environment
- Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
- Demonstrated organizational skills with an ability to prioritize work
- Proven critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Interest in Health and Safety
- Flexible work hours on occasion
Wetlands Biologist:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience or a combination of education and experience
- Received recognized training in wetland delineation
- WESP-AC training is an asset
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical writing skills
- Close attention to detail
- Experience in the collection of biological and physical field data
- Ability and natural tendency to mentor staff that are junior in experience/exposure
Vegetation Biologist:
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, engineering, science, forestry, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience or a combination of education and experience
- Ability to identify common vascular plans in the field and to identify collected specimens using dichotomous keys and other reference materials
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical writing skills
- Close attention to detail
- Experience in the collection of biological and physical field data
- Ability and natural tendency to mentor staff that are junior in experience/exposure
