Environmental Project Manager
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Demonstrated experience with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting in Massachusetts including regulatory coordination and permit application development.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply environmental compliance and permitting regulations such as the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, MESA, MEPA, CEPA, Chapter 91 and Sections 401, 404, and 408 of the Clean Water Act.
- Ability to effectively present information and represent clients in a public setting, such as a local conservation commission meeting or public informational meeting.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management and permitting experience is preferred.
- Experience permitting large scale energy projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of documents related to requests for proposals, invitations for bid and tendering offers.
- "Hands-on" experience in managing permitting applications and projects from start to finish.
- Knowledge of computer applications and functions, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proven experience working in a team environment.
- Ability to review project work, quantities, costs, accuracy of specifications, completeness, and constructability.
- Demonstrated experience meeting project deadlines in a cost-effective manner.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, including advanced technical writing abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain and establish positive working relationships.
- Must be able to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.
- Ability to perform work accurately in a detailed-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare clear and concise reports, procedures, correspondence and other written materials.

Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in environmental science, law degree, or related field preferred.
· Minimum 5 years’ work experience in the consulting field; or an equivalent combination of education (e.g., advanced degree) and experience.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time or ability to work remotely and independently from a home office. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather and active construction sites.
