Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Solid working knowledge of sampling techniques (soil, groundwater, vapour, surface water, sediment), as well as testing/sampling protocols.
- Proven ability to supervise/manage contractors.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including MS Office skills.
- Strong note-taking skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot equipment and solve problems in the field, with the support of a project manager.
- Ability to work on your own initiative as well as in a team environment is crucial.
- Good driving record and valid driver’s license required.
Education and Experience
Technical degree/diploma/certificate or equivalent in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Minimum of 2-3 years of experience.
Two to three years of experience in contaminated sites investigation/remediation would be considered an asset.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
