- Ability to solve problems using sound professional judgment, creativity and innovation.
- Basic understanding of cost/estimating, engineering design, and construction practice.
- Familiarity with one or more estimating software (Sage Timberline Estimating, On-Screen Take-Off, MCASES MII, IPE, HCSS) or other databased estimating platforms.
- Familiarity with one or more scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications.
- Willingness to seek guidance as needed and to work with others to achieve group results.
- Ability to multi-task, work on several projects or tasks at once, manage time, organize, and set priorities.
- Positive attitude with strong relationship building skills.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, or related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years of related experience is preferred.
- Some construction field experience preferred.
Typical office environment working with computers. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
